It is not too late to set your intentions for this day of 2019. In fact you can set one everyday. Maybe you set some New Year Resolutions or Goals. Great. How’s that going? Already wondering if it was too ambitious.
Set yourself up for success and avoid the pitfalls of goals too big to accomplish.
Goals that you avoid or procrastinate doing can be overwhelming, and simply feel too big to start.
Break down your goals and create a smarter plan to meet your intentions. Consider the steps required to accomplish what you envision.
Then break those down into smaller actions steps, and pick one for today that you know you can accomplish.
Make it SMART-Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time Limited.
Give yourself a time limit like 15-20 minutes to do it in. Set a timer and do it. If you have to create a few more to accomplish the task, then do so. Don’t be discouraged, be SMART.
With each little task, you are that much closer to meeting that intention, and ultimately experience success no matter how big or small. That feeling of accomplishment may have a side effect….it might just energize you to do more.
